Demolition Of Structures

This involves tearing down of buildings and other man-made structures. For small buildings, such as houses, that are only two or three storeys high, demolition is a rather simple process. The building is pulled down either manually or mechanically using large hydraulic equipment: elevated work platforms, cranes, excavators or bulldozers. Large buildings may require the use of a wrecking ball, a heavy weight on a cable that is swung by a crane into the side of the buildings. Wrecking balls are especially effective against masonry, but are less easily controlled and often less efficient than other methods. Newer methods may use rotational hydraulic shears and silenced rock-breakers attached to excavators to cut or break through wood, steel or concrete. Before any demolition activities can take place, there are many steps that must be carried out beforehand, including performing asbestos abatement, removing hazardous or regulated materials, obtaining necessary permits, submitting necessary notifications, disconnecting utilities and the development of site-specific safety and work plans. We are Professional Demolishers! We have demolished number of buildings manually and mechanically across Nigeria. When it comes to pulling down your structures of any kind, contact SGC for the business.

Site Clearing

This is the process of clearing away the vegetation and surface soil of the construction site. There are several steps involved in a successful site clearing to ensure that we get a project set up for success. SGC is dedicated to delivering quality services in clearing sites. We display professionalism, seeking new opportunities for expansion and profitability and providing an environment ready for construction proper. In addition, Site Clearing also involves clearing a site of any machinery or equipment, unwanted surplus materials, rubbish etc. Care should be taken to ensure that there are the correct approvals in place. A site-waste management plan (SWMP) may be prepared before site clearance begins. This describes how materials will be maximized. All types of waste present on the site must be removed safely and efficiently. If you have a commercial or residential construction project that requires site clearing, leave it for SGC to execute on your behalf.

Site Work

This is the process of getting your construction site ready for all of the actual construction that is going to take place. Site Work can be used to describe a whole host of things done to the site, but many people don't understand why exactly it's so critical to the construction. Site Work can be described as the process of preliminary work to prepare a construction site for building. It's an essential part of the construction process.
